The government plans to develop a Unified Logistics Interface Platform (ULIP)under NLP. This will consolidate all transportation-related digital services into a single platform, saving exporters a lot of time and complex processes
India being the 5th largest economy in the world, aims to be placed among the top 10 nations in the LPI (Logistics Performance Index) by 2030. It has to match the pace of South Korea and the US.
How will the policy help the country GDP wise?– The policy will help in making transportation and logistics sector to be an integrated, cost-efficient, resilient, and sustainable logistics ecosystem in the country– It covers all bases of the sector along with efficient rules and mentioning supply-side constraints.
